Oh, it starts like that. A few scouts to feel out the new living situation. The next thing you know they've taken over. I lived quite happily with a small colony of ants in my bathroom when I was single. I had a deal with them. They could live in my bathroom, but any spread into the rest of the apartment and they were history. After a couple of weeks, I found some ants on my couch. They were exterminated immediately.
