My Guitar Hero, My Husband

This past winter Joe was at his son’s house and watched his friends play guitar hero with him. They were really good at the game. He told them, if you just practiced an instrument as much as this stupid game, you would be good.

Almost the next day, Joe went and rented a saxophone. I have heard him play before. He does pretty well still. He just gave his brother back his sax about a year ago.

Thursday nights for a few months have been Joe’s band practice night. Luckily for me they practice at Christian’s house. Christian does vocals, Dennis on guitar, Joe plays sax and the true glue of it all is Danny on the drums. So last night, Joe came home after brand practice with Dennis, Danny and their beers. They were just going to BS and drink a couple of beers in the garage. I really don’t understand why the garage. He pulls the Porsche out and puts chairs out. We have an acceptable backyard patio for BSing.

Then they brought out their gear and played. The next thing you know it is about 2 am. For a bunch of old guys, they sounded pretty good, at least Ozzy agreed with me.

I’ll let you know when “The Old Guys Garage Band” begins their world tour and what venues. I can get you a back stage pass.
